Not a good answer...

Me: Lulu, please chew with your mouth closed, silly.

Lucy: What did you say, Mommy?

Me: Please chew your sunchips with your mouth closed because no one wants to see your food.

Lucy: I can't.

Me: Why?

Lucy: Because that's how God made me.
