Library books

A few weeks ago, Christian got a book from the library that we read over and over and over again. It's called Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction site. A page in the book shows a man yelling out the window to the dump truck and says "HEY, pipe down!" Oh, the giggles that followed from all three of them...they loved that phrase. 

Today Emilia followed me in to Christian's room to wake him up from his nap. She was going on and on about how..."we have to wear clothes to the park, right mommy?" "Yes." "Because if we don't all the peoples will see our tooshie and that's gwoss. So I'll wear my shorts and boots, but we have to wear clothes because that's what we do when we go to the park." I motioned to not be so loud and Bubs took the opportunity to yell, "Hey, pipe down!"

Coming off a really wonderful weekend with my in-laws--Christian thought he could go with them this morning.  I hope the kids aren't in too much of a funk tonight when it's just Michael and me. :)
