Thanksgiving we went to the mountains and rented a house with the Trailovs. We rested, watched football (KY vs TN game), cooked so much food and ate, ate, ate. Lucy sported her Kentucky cheerleading outfit, but ended up with a TN shirt over it by the end of the game. Mimi did her graduate school studies at KY, so at least she was rooting for the big blue!
Is dinner ready?
Celebrating Lulu's b-day a little early...

A trip to downtown Boone, NC

December was full of good times. I went to Cincy for Mia's 12th Birthday party! What a hoot. All of her girl friends were adorable and so polite. Some of our siblings helped in a big way...painting nails (Jess/Luci), facials (Angie/Jacque), decorating (David/Gabe!)...it was a true family affair. Something kind of funny happened during the party. Well, it's funny now, it was NOT funny then. All the girls had some St. Ives facial stuff put on their face. One of the little girls had a baaaaad reaction to it. You know, at that age their skin is soft and flawless so of course it's uber sensitive. Who knew that I would capture the same sweet girl looking at her face in the mirror. I didn't realize it until I uploaded them all.
Getting ready for Mia's party. David spelled her name with gum.

Christmas at Mimi's house...

Through the fall and winter Lucy went to Kindermusik each week. It was a good time dancing and singing. The last class was a few weeks ago and we won't forget how much fun we had.

Three of Lucy's favorite friends were in Kindermusik with her. She will miss seeing them each week, but the moms are finding good excuses to see each other more often!
