Freezing Football Frenzy...

Our trip home to Northern Kentucky was a ball (literally!). My main purpose for the trip was to see David’s (possible last) game as a Covington Catholic football player. Two years ago they won the state championship, but this year was a different scenario. It was a struggling season, but Saturday’s game was different- they played awesome in the rain and freezing cold. Mom and I weren’t going to miss the game, so we bundled up and brought our umbrellas! David had a great game and even had a few sacks on the quarter back. Way to go, Dave! I hope you win your next game in the playoffs.

Here’s a little clip of how excited they were at the end of the game.

On Sunday, we bundled up for round 2 of football! I went with 4 of my siblings (Tevis, Luci, David and Mia) and even indulged in some of the tailgating festivities before the game. T and his friends have a Bengals’ bus that they bring to the home games. They weren’t the only ones…the amount of festive cars in the parking lot was unreal. They were decked out!!

Here are some of the tricked out rides in the parking lot...
